Hollyweird
She's dead anyway guys, don't try to offer her your hand and save her from the clutches of the mighty and ferocious King Kong. It's just not good enough mate.

Eye Spy
Foldable binoculars made out of cardboard are something I wish that I had invented since they're pretty damn cute with the Golden Gate bridge and sea lion on them. Another momento I brought hom with me from San Francisco after our ferry tour around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate.

Give them back
Australia Day and I returned back home to a steaming bowl of noodles and bok choy cooked by my Mum and barbeque with salad fir dunner cooked by my Daddy because I requested it.
I was none too impressed however when I discovered San Diego Zoo had stolen our koalas and was advertising them left right and centre when I can drive out to Bendigo and hope out on the side of the road to see one.
Don't make me steal Ron Burgundy from you in return San Diego.

When I get bored I take photos of the nearest birds I can find. There's a lot of photos of birds on my camera.

Showdown
We hit up the game arcades oved at Mission Beach in San Diego and got fingertraps and plastic soldiers for our skills. It's like the Melbourne Show at ever major tourist attraction in America.

Ignotus then greeted Death as an old friend
My rabbit Harry died of myxomatosis while I was on holiday in America and he was named after Harry Potter since he had brown fur and his brothers had orange and orange with white, hence the title of this post.
He was always the prettiest of all my rabbits and the second of the brothers to die. It's so unfair.

America's Cult
Being a born and bred Aussie girl, I have always been very proud of my country and loved it despite the shit weather in Summer that drives me mental. However my level of patriotism can not compare to the everyday American.
There were humongous flags everywhere. Malls, people's front yards and especially car dealers.
Car dealers would coordinate the colours red, white and blue to shine out their love for their country and nothing freaked me out more when the pledge of allegiance was undertaken in school and it seemed all so robotic and controlled.
Freaky stuff blew my mind.

Bright lights in paradise
West Hills High School's football field light up at night. Two different blues are used for their oval made out of synthetic grass so ducks don't get confused and think it is a large body of water.
At a neighboring school the all blue football oval would be the gravesite to many ducks with broken necks dive-bombing the ground thinking it was water. Sad.

Mr Lonely
Nothing says sad and desolate like old Alcatraz prison, the famous island penetentiary. Mimicked by J.K. Rowling in her third Harry Potter book where the wizard prison is called Azkaban.
Easily confused and muddled up these two prisons.

See a penny
Pick it up. All day long you'll have good luck!
Or choose to pay 51 cents to press it flat and have a pretty pattern forever embedded onto it as a cheap souveneir that weighs virtually nothing.
Your call.
I have about... thirteen of these pressed pennies from around America if I had to take an estimate.
