Mickey Mouse and the Tarot Cards

Pretty bad lighting since I couldn't be bothered formally setting anything up and I dont have any of those fancy photography umbrellas or really any umbrellas that can be used to redirect lights or wahetever. Just a fun little quick snap. I must do another one, maybe with pinks gel filters and stuff? Once I find more wall to use in my room...

Stone Guardian

I enjoy my bus trips home because I can see two other stone tortoises in someone's front garden on route home taking with my good friend Catherine. The stone tortoise pictured moved from my old house to my new house some twelve years ago and sits alone in my garden. It's as alive as the pet cemetery I have in two different spots in my garden.

Behind the Lens

I much prefer taking photographs where my pretty cameras are the models and I don't have to put in effort and do hair/make up etc. to look nice. And I also prefer mucking around in my year using my doona cover as a background on the clothesline :)

Life in/without colour

Poster ripped from an old Girlfriend magazine extract and put on the wall above my bed.
Life with colour:

Life without colour and in dull black and white:

Makes a big difference yeah?
I know I am certainly thankful I am not colourblind because you have to rely on it a lot for Chemistry. Who knew? I mean Art, Studio Art, VCD etc. It is obvious the importance of colour plays in our lives but a science too. Makes me feel sorry for the guy who asks his friend what colour his pencil is when their friend doesn't look up and he colours with it anyway.
Yes I do mean you, Henry.

New aquisition

I am now, without a doubt, obsessed with buying analogue cameras but I don't really have much of a use for them since my life is horribly boring and I just sit chained to my desk doing endless copious amounts of Chemistry and Math Methods. These holidays my life will be excitiing for once and I will have lots of photographs to proove it and smile and look back on fondly. I hope.

Is Lisa at camp Granada?

Hiding behind a cage of glow sticks casually wearing a Chip n Dale hat from Disneyland in the middle of nowhere.

CATHERINE HURPING THE DERP

No but early this year after returning from America and my luxury hotels I went on year 12 camp which involved goal setting, talking about how serious this year will be but how it can't ruin your life and blah blah blah...

Our room was horrible, too hot, smelly, repressive, dirty and just bad. But it was the best way for our friends to stay together and not get broken up too much and avoid certain people in our year level who are losers and exaggerate and won't stop talking about their family doctor...
We made a fort out of blankets and ate heaps of lollies and junk we brought but the camp food wasn't actually too bad and we caught up and it was fun. We were armed with glow sticks too.
My blanket had a cigarette hole burnt through it. Rawson is obviously a classy place.

We had a bunch of dancing people come in and we all had a dancing sort of session in their shit hole of a basketball stadium. (I would know what a good basketball stadium is and isn't since I work as a referee and have been for at least two years).

It was funny when the dancers introduced themselves and said 'Melbourne' like it was a really far away magical amazing place. All I wanted to yell was "We aren't the locals you cunts. We're civilised and from Melbourne too."
Alas, I did not shout such a statement.
