I didn't vote, I'm too young. Mum really wanted me to go with her and collect all the pamphlets from the people ambushing outside the electoral building but I declined her offer and decided to do some homework instead after having a massive sleep-in.
I have both her and Dad's 'I VOTED' stickers though so I got the better end of the deal. Mum reckons the guy handing out stickers got payed $220 all day just for handing out stickers, I swear some people get all the luck.
So now it's deadlocked, Melbourne is ruled by the seat of The Greens, there's some 19 year old kid being a politician straight after doing VCE and my boyfriend mucked up his ballot. What a horrible year for politics.
