It's the movies; the songs on the radio and the fairytales we don't know better than to listen to that create this wonderful idolatry picture of happily ever afters and marriage and love and all that shit. Prince Charming what's-his-face comes in riding on a white horse and takes you away and life is easy and beautiful every day and you're happy.
But it's not like that in real life.
Any happiness experienced in life you have to work incredibly hard for.
I learnt that the hard way.
And sometimes no matter how hard you work, you just end up miserable anyway. Life has also taught me that.
