By Monday I have Friday on my mind

So it's Friday 13th and I guess I should post something a little bit scary and frightening? Tough shit ducklings, I only have blurry photos of trees taking from a fast moving bus. But maybe If you imagine this is what a werewolf sees when they run or a monster or something then it can be scary... kind of.

You're distracted

So I guess that means I can get away with this. Photos taken within an art exhibition of sorts, which I guess is infringing on copyrights and stuff. But they had such lovely green carpets that looked so good, how could I resist? Oh and outside there was more fake grass, I'm digging it.

Art outside the Frame

Art does exist outside a gallery or expensive showroom, you just have to find the heart of it.

Crossing over

So at ACMI, Australia Centre for the Moving Image we saw the Screens exhibition which basically goes through all the changes that have happened throughout multimedia, which is pretty amazing. It's interactive so there's lots to see and do and I really loved it.

There's this one room where a pattern it projected through a room full of smoke and it just looks incredible. It reminded me of some sort of beautiful zombie movie. On a sadder note, it was announced at my school yesterday that a boy in year 10 died yesterday, Monday the 9th of August when a state wide curriculum day was announced. I can't help but play 'what if' in my head and cry at the waste of life. This boy wasn't even 16 yet and he's gone. In my opinion, he was a little bit beautiful and looked pretty healthy. Life isn't fair to take the good ones away from us.

"I don't know which way I'm supposed to spin, in this circle"
Big thanks to Jasmine for spinning around for me, isn't she a great sport?

This video is the good zombie-esque video in which there is no interruption from my classmates. If it happened twice I do believe I would garrote a certain someone.

In this video you can hear my very intelligent classmates in which another video is ruined by their incessant chatter and generally stupidity. And a special thank you to E. no one for wrecking it with your horrible voice for which I hate for you.

The snow Village

I think I adore it when little four year old children are brought to the slopes by their parents and they ski better than me. They're just so pro!

The most hip and happening place at Mt Buller, maybe excluding the ABOM restaurant which got ridiculously overcrowded. All the time. The sun and weather went absolutely nuts on Days 4 and 5, I remember my instructor Mike said we were basically snowboarding in a cloud. Cool story bro.

Butter posies

I bought a Matina Amanita ring off eBay today, it's purple and has a tiny amethyst in it, and it's gold plated around silver. Sort of reminds me of these flowers in my front yard which i adore. I really want to have a billion rings of flowers and plants and trees and animals. Guess I'm in a natural and peaceful mood, despite having an 18 page poem to annotate, Samuel Taylor Coleridge's 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' two tests tomorrow and a SAC on Wednesday. I can't wait till Friday.
