Bright Eyes

Even after a hard night's work of refereeing basketball grand finals on a Friday Night I still manage to have energy enough to be able to run around the house, find my camera and take some quick photographs of a possum hanging precariously on the telephone wire. The best thing about this shot is how close the little guy was and the fact that after giving it the paparazzi treatment it had no where to go to and escape. It was a case of the old batteries giving out before I was done and satisfied with all my photographs taken that night. This blog actually started with photographs I took on a Friday night after work- to say I am happy with how it has evolved is an understatement.

Hello Possum

I have a tendency to paparazzi the local possums that think it's a smart idea to sit in the trees outside my bedroom window, especially when I seem to hit the metaphorical wall and need a flash of brilliance to strike. That's when I use a brilliant camera flash to dazzle the possums.

Shoot to Stun

I think what my life is missing at the moment is a pet something or rather. Maybe a duck. Baby ducks are cute and you can buy them at the Victorian Market at the city but I'm not too sure if I'd be able to bring it home with me or not. Or I could be a hipster and get a cat. Probably a cat would be the most fun to photograph since they're not hyperactive like some breeds of dogs and cats and dogs look at human's eyes when they look at them.
You could use that fact to create some cool shots I suppose.
