Ugly Trees

Interesting contrast of the soft sky with broken up fluffy clouds strewn across it and the bare gnarled tree branches reaching up into the sky in American Winter. I have no idea what plant it is but if I asked my father I bet you he would know what it is but I'm too lazy and a little proud of the composition of this quickly snapped photograph.

Them Crooked Vultures

They always seem a bit conspiratorial, black, vulgar, shady creatures don't they vultures? I guess you earn that sort of reputation if you enjoy eating whatever drops dead and pick them apart rather neatly. Those scrawny little necks, perched upon bald pink heads. Massive black wings that could swallow you up never to be seen again.

Tree Initials

Never before had I seen so many hearts on one tree. Initials in trees isn't something I see everyday, maybe since at my school not that many people are dumb enough to bring knives to school. Can't say that I really check out tourist places around my home city where people would be inclined to desecrate trees and carve their names into it. Couples and some lovely individuals with the year as companion to their name carved their letters and hearts and symbols into this poor arboretum. I wonder where they all are, and how many of those couples are still together today.
