We do strange things in our youth

Or rather, our mother (one would hope), do strange things on our behalf such as cutting our hair themselves, dressing them up in a way they think is both cute as well as respectable. And making you look like quite the oddity when going for a trip to Disneyland. Like a princess perhaps?
