I felt a little bored so I brought my cameras out to play using the blouse as a background including my new Polaroid Barbie camera which I have yet to test considering the cost of the new Impossible Project 600 film and the fact I have almost 500 photographs to print at Harvey Norman while they still have 9 c prints on offer. Really should begin to use my Diana cameras more, rather than just admire they way they look.

I collect Cameras

Vignette Disposable Kodak Film

First attempt in scanning 35mm film and it is a little bit of a shambles. These photographs have featured on this blog before but I had to take photographs of the developed results which I thought was pretty dodgy. Then when I saw how these came out I wondered what the hell went wrong... It's a little good for some of the brighter photographs where the colours are dominant and it looks like it has a vignette affect. Some of the others look awful and full, like there's a dominant sepia tone affect and nothing is bright and stands out. My Diana Mini and Canon A1 scanned film turned out a little better, with varying results.

I am bleeping arty
The back of my Superheadz Blackbird that I customised for myself. After taking these photographs and after my conscience bugged me so much I took them off and replaced the stickers with a nice wholesome, family-friendly Spongebob Squarepants sticker. So I know this is my camera without the colourful language. I feel so much better for doing it.

Shake that ass
A sticker probably from a white-out something or rather stuck onto Mario the plumbers frumpy butt. At the time I thought it was pretty funny but maybe I was just in a bit of a sleazy perverted mind set when I took this. Or maybe I just liked the way I matched up the red of his short and hat with the sticker. Had this key chain since being a little kid all the way back when.

I've been waiting for this moment
My Barbie Polaroid camera finally came in the mail today! Unfortunately I am too poor and don't have any film to try out with it and I also the eBay listing with the best price of the new Impossible Project 600 film that came in a bundle of four packs of film ended. Boo-hoo. I am really excited and can't wait to use this baby soon. It's really durable and sturdy for something so girly and immature but since the target audience was probably for five year olds and ten year olds the camera would have to withstand a lot of dropping. I'm surprise just how big it is since I am moor used to smaller compact cameras but it's also a welcome change. Can't wait to use it for my schools next free dress day!

Bouncing soles
Doc Martens box I got with my patent leather boots with flower's imprinted on them. Too bad I scuffed them the very first time I wore them but I do love them. The box holds all my lovely lomography and camera stuff including all the little fiddly bits such as the format masks, flash adaptors etc.

Fairy Tales
Always have happy endings: the princess has a billion babies with the man of her dreams, they live in a pink castle much like the one in Disneyland Resort that I found and they have a photo album as proof of the amazing life they lead when they're both ninety two years old have grey hair and false teeth. Is what I defined as a 'happy ending' when I was still in kindergarten.

Lomography Film
Nothing makes me happier then seeing all these lovely lomography brand film boxes lined up against my wall on top of my desk. In less than 30 days I will be free. In less then 30 days I will have done two mid-year exams and will have stopped freaking out. In less than 35 days I will have already been to my year 12 formal. In less than 35 days hopefully I will have had a shopping spree at American Apparel. Or have been to the zoo. In less than a week I will hopefully stop crying so much.

Franken-camera

The moment I put a Diana F+ camera flash on top of a Canon A-1 Body it felt sickly wrong. Like I had committed some sort of great camera crime, a great SLR from the 70's coupled with a toy camera flash for hipster kids. I don't think I want to do it again unless I needed a flash around with me since I have 4 of them... (2 blue, 2 black) I hope it's just because the colours don't match at all, that'd be a relief.
