Shake that ass

A sticker probably from a  white-out something or rather stuck onto Mario the plumbers frumpy butt. At the time I thought it was pretty funny but maybe I was just in a bit of a sleazy perverted mind set when I took this. Or maybe I just liked the way I matched up the red of his short and hat with the sticker. Had this key chain since being a little kid all the way back when.

Owl Eyes

It took far too long to complete but voila I have finally finished my second owl related drawing. The eyes were important and so was the beak. I eventually gave up on shading black background and I just wanted it finished in the end.

Bouncing soles

Doc Martens box I got with my patent leather boots with flower's imprinted on them. Too bad I scuffed them the very first time I wore them but I do love them. The box holds all my lovely lomography and camera stuff including all the little fiddly bits such as the format masks, flash adaptors etc.

Malteaster Bunny

Ever since we started to keep real rabbits as pets the Easter Bunny stopped visiting my family and hiding easter eggs all around the house. Luckily when I went to see the movie Hop with my boyfriend the MaltEaster Bunny paid a visit instead and so did a bunny toy. I think I ate him while watching Doctor Who; nothing cheers me up more at the end of a hard week of school then getting to watch Doctor Who and eating chocolate.

Lomography Film

Nothing makes me happier then seeing all these lovely lomography brand film boxes lined up against my wall on top of my desk. In less than 30 days I will be free. In less then 30 days I will have done two mid-year exams and will have stopped freaking out. In less than 35 days I will have already been to my year 12 formal. In less than 35 days hopefully I will have had a shopping spree at American Apparel. Or have been to the zoo. In less than a week I will hopefully stop crying so much.

Daisy Chain

I bought a bulk lot of about seven or eight RUSSH magazines, initially because I wanted to chop them up and cover my walls with them but they are way to pretty and the writing is too eloquent to destroy. I bought my Alex Monroe Daisy Ring last year many months ago but was delighted to find it shown in one of my new feavourite pre-loved magazines. I had to compare the two together and marvel that I could afford something so pretty and pure. My favourite ring by far, but I think I like a new tiffany ring in a bow and might save for that next, failing that the double bow ring by Stolen Girlfriend's Club, both of which cost a pretty penny.

Franken-camera

The moment I put a Diana F+ camera flash on top of a Canon A-1 Body it felt sickly wrong. Like I had committed some sort of great camera crime, a great SLR from the 70's coupled with a toy camera flash for hipster kids. I don't think I want to do it again unless I needed a flash around with me since I have 4 of them... (2 blue, 2 black) I hope it's just because the colours don't match at all, that'd be a relief.

Safety first

What could be more eye catching than a fluoroscent pink camera wrapped around your neck? Well ok, yes maybe a fluorescent safety jacket or the Lomography Glow edition which is a little hard to buy within Australia so this is the best I can do with my small budget (I'm broke) and not wanting to look like an avant garde 1980's clown.

I use a typewriter now, typewriter's are cool

Although sometimes you tend to have little interesting spaces crop up where you didn't want them and maybe the tape reel needs to be replaced or something and using lined paper makes things look even more mishapen and wonky than they already are.

The colour of happiness

Colour truly is a gift. I can't help but wonder, during my Chemistry and Physics classes if there are colours unknown to the human eye. We are all familiar with the visible spectrum, the colours of the rainbow shortened down to the acronym ROY G BIV. But is there more than meets the eye? In the higher frequency such as ultra-violet region and the lower frequency such as the infra-red region (which when viewed through technology presents us with colours of the rainbow) are there more colours?
I'm too afraid to ask such a philosophical question and I'm afraid that the answer is no. I don't want my imagination to be limited to dream.

Totem Stack

Candian spiritual for me and pretty much the only time of 'spiritualism' that makes me happy and I enjoy is the capturing of the soul.
I hide behind a cyclops' eye and snap away moments of peoples lives. I take away what they have and I keep them forever in a place where they cannot age and where they are safe. If I choose, I can erase them and draw over them but not once have I done that.
I have never blackened out a person or gotten rid of them from my memory. I have had that done to me though, it is cruel and it hurts. That makes me believe that photographs really are sacred and by taking them and storing them I will never forget the great amazing people that change my life. Even if I get alzheimers or have amnesia.

New aquisition

I am now, without a doubt, obsessed with buying analogue cameras but I don't really have much of a use for them since my life is horribly boring and I just sit chained to my desk doing endless copious amounts of Chemistry and Math Methods. These holidays my life will be excitiing for once and I will have lots of photographs to proove it and smile and look back on fondly. I hope.

My girl Diana

Diana F+ on the left (blue and black), Lomography World Congress 7th anniversary edition in black and gold. I love lomography cameras, the light weight and the comfort, the shape and the colour of the plastic and the simple controls but I still haven'y processed my first roll out of them yet...

Caged Dragon

I used to love playing dragons when I was seven. Obviously I'm very proud of this.
My best friend in Grade Two would like to play Pokemon, Harry Potter and Dragons with me and we'd imagine all sorts of crazy stuff. I was alternative before I could even pronounce the word.

It was all yellow

Everything that is coloured yellow is bright and happy. It's pretty much an accepted scientific fact; baby ducks, pikachu, the sun, bananas... They all make people happy.
My Diana+ makes me very happy though. The first Diana Clone camera put out by lomography in 2007 I bought from eBay.

Just schooling myself.

Chomped through Keep Calm Already, got side-tracked off reading Nine Commentaries and instead borrowed The Catcher in the Rye which is actually having adverse affects on my personality and it is rather awkward to read a book titled Whom Not to Marry when you're sevnteen and you have a boyfriend so you basically can't even consider marriage really.

Classic black and colour shards

New purchases include a Diana Mini in Petite Noir which I am pretty much in love with and my new sunglasses authentic RayBans! My last pair of sunglasses were chewed by my host family's dog in America and they decided to hide this from me and not tell me :\
But now I have new amazing colourful sunglasses that make me happy everytime I see them.
Even if they have the tendency to slide off my nose when I wear them.

Ways to say I love you

My best friend gave my friendship group rolls of candy hearts with little messages on them. I still have them actually all preserved in an air tight tin and I think I'll share them with my boyfriend one day once I take a proper photo of them in a shot with one of my favourite pieces of jewellery which is my Matina Amanita 'Broken' heart ring and some lace. I'll eat the one that says Dream On though since it's not exactly sending the right message to my beloved.

All Time Low

Four different effects, starting with negative, going through to red, green and blue. And yet I didn't take a normal photo without the effects on to show you guys the normal picture. Ah well, the rubber bracelet is grey with white writing and I got it from America at Hot Topic. We need that chain in Australia as well as In-n-Out Burger. That stuff was the best shit I've ever eaten in my life :) as far as burgers go that is.
