The Holga CMY; what I consider to be one of the holy grails of my collection though there are a few. I only ever saw this beautiful piece of plastic go up on eBay for purchase once and I made sure I seized the opportunity. Including postage it cost my less for the Holga CMY starter kit than the Holga starter kit in black at the Australian online store Lofico. Felt a massive sense of achievement and relief when it came to my door, I love everything about this camera, my new girlfriend the Holga. Bright amazing colours, lightweight body and simplistic controls. Cheap plastic leans and a little light strap to hold her up. Soft body that feels good to have when you're travelling a real good camera. I haven't taken her for a test drive yet even though I had the chance to but I want to put her to the test when the weather is better and there's more sunlight out. I want to see something really special when I develop those first rolls of film with her.

Lomography Film
Nothing makes me happier then seeing all these lovely lomography brand film boxes lined up against my wall on top of my desk. In less than 30 days I will be free. In less then 30 days I will have done two mid-year exams and will have stopped freaking out. In less than 35 days I will have already been to my year 12 formal. In less than 35 days hopefully I will have had a shopping spree at American Apparel. Or have been to the zoo. In less than a week I will hopefully stop crying so much.

Safety first

What could be more eye catching than a fluoroscent pink camera wrapped around your neck? Well ok, yes maybe a fluorescent safety jacket or the Lomography Glow edition which is a little hard to buy within Australia so this is the best I can do with my small budget (I'm broke) and not wanting to look like an avant garde 1980's clown.

I love Diana
Smiling is obviously not my forte after being in isolation away from my school friends for a week and hanging around the house alone with exception to my family members. All I need is fifteen cats and then my crazy expression will reflect an insane state of mind and the angst of a lonely hermit perhaps.
Fail attempt at being a little bit saucy and seductive. I just look hungry and that I finally decided to eat my own lip. It's either that, or the result of botched surgery that has reduced my lip. Damn.
Favourite picture of the new happy couple in pink; All the finer details are in focus, you can see all the grainy texture of the body of the camera and the bright infectiously happy fluorescent pink of the camera and a foggy lens as well as viewfinder.
Lomography vision-
I look like such a steampunk right here, but ever since I bid on Mr Pink Diana F+ I have wanted to place the two lenses on my eyes. I actually like this shot despite the fact I had the camera propped on a tripod which i had set up myself and I just had to guess where to go and be still as possible to get the writing on each lense legible. I am proud of my lomography cameras a lot as you can probably tell by now.
Gorgeously feminine.
I don't look scared, or like I'm hiding in this shot. My brown eyes kind of just convey a sense of myserty "who is this girl?". Least I'd like to think so. Hides my nose too which is always good in my opinion.
Om nom nom.
Shooting blanks.
First kiss. I love lomography cameras, they're well designed and lightweight and look amazing. Bright and fun but durable enough for a few of life's little mistakes. They are delicate though and intricate when you look on the inside and remove the lens so be careful with her, it's a little easy to break her heart... or him if you are the lucky owner of a Mr Pink then him.

To the left
Everything you own in the box to the left, not really. Next to my bed I have my small collection of lomography boxes from their cameras including all the nice little books that come with them because they be good reading. Got two copies of the same one but one is better than the other so I guess I can take the bad copy around with me when I'm bored and want to get inspired and read charming stories about zombies and Andy Warhol.

I have a new man in my life
Hamish if you're reading this I'm sorry you had to find out this way. But I have a new man in my life.
He's sensitive, smart, cute and has a sharp dress sense. He's always there for me and he's a great listener. He's in shape and is easily adaptable. He's hot pink and always keen to go with me when I'm out shopping or when I go to the city. He's the perfect travel companion. Introducing Mr. Pink, the holy grail of Diana F+ cameras for me and the camera that made me get into collecting lomography brand cameras. The hot pink colour accentuated the sharp figure of the body and smooth curves of the flash and adapter. Lightweight and sleek, the Diana F+ cameras and Mr Pink captured my imagination and has lead me on a whirlwind romance.

Eyes of the bluest sky

Gotta love having the school holidays to relax and recharge my batteries. Time to catch up on work, time to catch up and get ahead on the term's work ahead of me and the upcoming exams for Chemistry and Physics and explore my creative side and draw. In a few months I'll be able to churn these babies out like a machine when VCE is all over.

Totem Stack

Candian spiritual for me and pretty much the only time of 'spiritualism' that makes me happy and I enjoy is the capturing of the soul.
I hide behind a cyclops' eye and snap away moments of peoples lives. I take away what they have and I keep them forever in a place where they cannot age and where they are safe. If I choose, I can erase them and draw over them but not once have I done that.
I have never blackened out a person or gotten rid of them from my memory. I have had that done to me though, it is cruel and it hurts. That makes me believe that photographs really are sacred and by taking them and storing them I will never forget the great amazing people that change my life. Even if I get alzheimers or have amnesia.

Behind the Lens
I much prefer taking photographs where my pretty cameras are the models and I don't have to put in effort and do hair/make up etc. to look nice. And I also prefer mucking around in my year using my doona cover as a background on the clothesline :)
